Our Birthday, Your Three Presents

When you are young, having a summer birthday is a definite downer.

Friends are often away on vacations with their families or your family takes you on vacation away from your friends. Parties are hard to plan.

Thankfully once you enter the 9-5 grind, summers are a time for relaxed hours and dress codes. People are looking to take a chill out, enjoy the sun, and have a good time.

30 Minute Dinner Party Is A Summer Baby

Maybe that’s why we like to party so much around here.

If you haven’t heard the news, this little baby just had it’s first birthday. We had a nice shindig at our California head quarters.

But I don’t want to leave you readers out of the fun!

Three Presents for You

I know you are supposed to get fewer (but bigger) presents as you get older, but this blog is still pretty young. Here are some baby steps:

(1) A Brand Spanking New Newsletter

The 30 Minute Dinner Party will now be bringing fresh content to your inbox every Thursday.

Here we are all about inspiring you to cook, so the newsletter will deliver fresh weekly dinner inspiration in a colorful, digital package.

You can expect to see:

  • top restaurant menus for your home
  • cooking inspiration from world-renowned chefs
  • mouth watering photos
  • useful gadgets to pimp your kitchen

Sign up here to get in on all the action.

(2) Reader’s Favorite Cookbook

Available shortly, I will be releasing a special collection from 30 Minute Dinner Party’s first year for your downloading pleasure.

It’s going to be a downloadable mini-cookbook of the most popular recipes from readers around the globe. From quickly reviewing the stats, it looks like it will be a compilation of the most popular menus (with their associated recipes) and the most killer how-to resources.

I know you may be thinking, “can’t I find all of those things online?”

Yes, you can. But I promise they will be much prettier (I’m a graphic designer: little known fact) and better organized. There will also be some of my yet unreleased signature recipes and extra cooking tips.

Make sure to stay tuned for that! (Hint: being on the email list will help)

(3) The Highlight Reel

Everyone is a genius at least once a year. The real geniuses simply have their bright ideas closer together.
Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742 – 1799)

I can hardly believe that in a year I have put up nearly a hundred recipes, received even more comments, and inspired dinner parties around the globe. But let me put the brightest ideas close together for easy consumption:

Here is a quick highlight real of this year’s accomplishments:

Want to Return the Favor?

Wondering what you can get me? My kitchen is overflowing with gadgets and cookbooks, so I’m all set there.

Why not leave a little hello on this post and let me know what you would most like to see the 30 Minute Dinner Party cooking up in the year to come.
