I was delighted to see a blog post recently by a woman who (inspired by French Women For All Seasons) planned a dinner party with only 30 minutes of cooking time, using healthy, delicious, and simple recipes. . . When you can cook a dinner for guests in only 25 or 30 minutes, there are truly no excuses!
What a fabulous blog! I always say I’m not an expert cook but I’m a willing cook. One time at the grocery store I saw King Crab on sale. Since my husband loves it I decided to get some, having no idea how to cook it. When I found out I needed a double-broiler, which I didn’t have, I improvised. I took the largest pot I had and filled it with water. Then I took the top rack out of the oven and put it on top of the pot. Viola! A double-broiler! 🙂 I can see that your blog is going to really come in handy for me! Can’t wait to look around more.

As one of the fortunate guests selected by our lovely host to partake in this dinner test, I can emphatically claim it was the most delicious Thanksgiving meal I have ever enjoyed, and I’ll have you know I’ve eaten superlative Thanksgiving food in my time.
This was not a meal, this was Art!

I have been visiting your blog recently, and wanted to try a few
recipes. I finally got around to trying a few this week- bobotie and the chocolate mousse. The casserole and the mousse were much appreciated by my friends.
I liked the fact that most of your recipes are not time consuming and don’t require some elaborate prep.
Thanks for the recipes!
Gabi, day by day this is proving to be more & more interesting. I never imagined that a blog on cooking will be so fascinating & all these exotic sounding dishes will have history, fairy tales, gossip, anecdotes etc. I think, one I will be a convert!!!
Really cool site. I just spent an hour browsing it. I am going to try the chocolate truffles and Godoh the first chance I get.
I don’t know If I said it already but …This blog rocks! I gotta say, that I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say I’m glad I found your blog. Thanks, 🙂 A definite great read.
