100th post: 100 Favorite Recipes

I can still count on one hand the number of years that I have considered myself a proper cook who knew what to do when left in the kitchen with a room full of people to feed. It seems shocking, because I have so many wonderful memories of dinners with friends and parties, that it must have more than five years. But we have all had some cooking going on throughout our lives, whether it is our own or that of a parent, spouse, or friend.

For my one hundredth post, I found it fitting to reflect not only on my cooking experience over the last six months, but also on where I have come from as far as food is concerned. Though many of these recipes have been discovered through my culinary travels, classes, and adventures at home, many also come from dear friends or relatives.

I hope they inspire you, but please comment below and let me know what your favorite recipes are so I can be inspired too!

    Thanks Mithai!

My friends actually make a really great fish fry with Pomfret that I love, but I don’t always have the time to let the fish sit and marinate. Do you know any fast Indian fish recipes? I am always looking for new things to try.

    Cheers,
    Gabi
